The Journey of Love:
Justin Trudeau met Sophie Grégoire in Montreal back in 2002 after returning from several years of teaching in Vancouver. They tied the knot in 2005 and are proud parents to their three children, Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrien.
Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, who holds a degree in communications from the University of Montréal, pursued a career in sales and advertising before transitioning to become a television and radio reporter.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on their wedding anniversary last year, Sophie shared their commitment to navigating through the ups and downs of life together. She described the challenges and rewards of long-term relationships, emphasizing the importance of love that fosters safety, freedom, and growth.
Despite their separation, the former couple continued their official engagements, representing Canada on the international stage. Recently, they attended King Charles’ coronation in London in May and also met with U.S. President Joe Biden in March.
The Canadian Prime Minister’s Office affirms that both Justin Trudeau and Sophie Grégoire Trudeau will maintain their focus on their responsibilities as public figures and continue to serve their country with dedication.
